First things first: another paper got rejected! YAY!!!! It's this paper's first rejection. The other paper has already been rejected 4 times. YAY!!!!! I'm becoming immune to people saying "thanks but no thanks".
Secondly: my UK supervisor is doing her "remote control" thing, where she tells us what to do. This is fine, so long as she realises that it would really *REALLY* be an improvement in her lab if she simply ***EMPLOYED*** me, so I could be at her beck-and-call 24/7. That way I also get to stay in Newcastle with The Man while being Useful and Happy.
Right. On to crime.
OK, now I have a butt-load of work to do, since the rejection of any paper usually means lots of revision and re-grafting of figures. Figures are prepared at home, since we don't have Adobe Photoshop on campus (which, quite frankly, is pathetic).
